In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Imam, the Allaamah, Wahab bin Munabbih a Taabi’ee (Rahimahullah) (d.110 H). Among the Sahaabah (Companions) from whom he narrated are: Ibn ‘Abbas, Abu Hurairah, Abu Sa’eed, al-Nu’man bin Bashir, Jabir bin Abdullah and Ibn ‘Umar (Radiallahu Anhum).
This expert said over 13 centuries ago as related in the Book Tarikhu Dimashq of Ibn ‘Asaakir (63/383):
“I reached (the era ) of early Islam and by Allah, never did the khawaarij (kharijites) have a Jamaa’ah (a group) except that Allah divided them and split it apart because of the evil that they were upon or the evilness of their conditions. Nor did one of them proclaim his opinion except that Allah smote and struck his neck. Never did the Ummah of Muhammad (SAW) unite upon a man from the khawaarij (kharijites), ever. Meaning the Ummah as a whole never gathered together or agreed with even a single person from them. And if Allah had allowed the opinion of the kharijites to take root, the Earth would have been corrupted, the paths (of travel) would have been cut off, travel for hajj to the sanctified House of Allah would have been cut off and then the affair of Islam and Muslims would have returned to that of Jahiliyyah (Pre-Islamic Ignorance) until the people would resign to seeking rescue from the mountain-tops, as they used to in Jahiliyyah. Meaning, Had Allah (swt) permitted the khawaarij to rule according to their ways and crooked understanding of Islam:
* Corruption and bloodshed would have spread across the land.
* The pathways would have been cut off.
* Pilgrimage (Hajj) towards the house of Allah would have had stopped.
* The laws of the Days of Ignorance, law of the Jungle, would have prevailed.
* So that even the people would return back to seeking help from the Jinns at the mountain top (i.e. return back to worshiping idols and the magic) as used to happen in the Days of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah).
And if more than 10 or 20 men gathered together (from them), there would not be a man from them, except that he would call people towards him to make him the Caliph (khaleefah) or claim the khilaafah for himself. And if each one of them had more than 10,000 followers they would fight among themselves, and would make takfeer of each other (declaring someone an apostate), until a believing man would not wake up, except that he would become fearful for his self, his religion, his life, his family and wealth, not knowing where to go and nor whom to be with or with whom to align!”
My respected people! Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful. And in this have come to you the truth, as well as an admonition and a reminder for the believers. And verily, herein is mercy and a reminder or an admonition for a people who believe. And verily, in this is a reminder for men of understanding. And an insight and a reminder for every servant who turns to Allah in repentance.
Respected Brothers and Sisters, I want you please, to make a deep, serious and sincere investigation about the groups and sects who deviate from mainstream Islam like, ISIS (ISIL, IS or DAESH), free Syrian Army (FSA), Al-Nusrah Front (Jabhat al-Nusrah), Nusayriyyah, Kurdish groups, Al-Shabaab, Al-Qa’idah, Taliban, Boko Haram, Al-Ansaru, Al-MuhaaJiroon, Hizbut-Tahirir and all the Jamaa’aat al-Hijrah wat-Takfeer etc., apart from the killing and attacking of Muslims, women and children and innocent non-Muslims, they are also in the habits of making Takfeer (declaring someone an apostate) on each other, and attacking and killing each other. We seek the Allah’s help and forgiveness and we seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds.
