According to reports the director of RADIO BIAFRA has been arrested by men of the Nigeria Police Force.
Nnamdi Kanu has recently upped his campaigns for the secession of the five Igbo states as a republic following the defeat of his candidate, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who he called an “Igbo.”
The arrest follows broadcasts on the station inciting violence against the Nigerian state and recruiting potential bomb and ammunition makers and other terrorists in the East.
Radio Biafra has been broadcasting on FM waves, Short waves, internet and phone Apps. The station has been sending out inciting and treasonous messages to Nigerians at home and abroad.
Funding for the station which suddenly became more vocal appears to have increased since members of the former government have been arrested and interrogated for corruption.
According to Radio Biafra website Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Lagos Saturday.
