NewsRescue– An amazing questionable feature on the iPhone 5s Siri voice app that has been discovered is a response given when the phone is asked ‘what is July 27th 2014?’ Siri responds, ‘it is Sunday July 2014th, opening gates of Hades.’
Siri did the same thing this year, calling August 7th the ‘opening gates of Hades,’ date.
These two dates correspond to the end of the Muslim fasting Holy month of Ramadan.
According to Islam the gates of heaven are opened at the beginning of the month and this means good deeds get the best reward and it is harder to do evil things in this Holy month because at the same time the gates of hell (Hades) are closed. The gates of Hell (Hades) will be closed on June 28th, 2014 according to the Muslim calendar.
And at the end of the month, the devil is released again as the gates of hell (Hades) are now opened. This will be on Sunday July 27th, 2014, though these dates may not be precise as Muslims follow the Lunar calendar and rely on the sighting of the moon to determine the start and end of the month; but scientists are promoting the use of astrological computing to take over the establishment of the dates of commencement and termination of Muslim events.
Ramadan month is on different days, 15 days earlier each year because the Lunar Calendar has 28 day months.
‘Hades’ is an ancient Greek word for the underworld, which Siri uses for ‘Hell.’
Also Date Of Chinese Ghost Festival
But there is something more interesting this points too.

Not only are the dates Siri recognizes, the Muslim Ramadan end date when Hell gates are opened, but in China, which also uses the Lunar calendar, the same date each year, the fifteenth day of the seventh month in the lunar calendar corresponds to the ‘Ghost festival,‘ date, or Yu Lan, when the realms of Heaven and Hell and the realm of the living are open and both Taoists and Buddhists would perform rituals to transmute and absolve the sufferings of the deceased.
Celebrations and homage is payed to the ‘Ghosts’ of the deceased on this date when the deceased are believed to visit the living.Meals are placed in front of empty seats and lanterns lit to give direction to lost souls.
It has been described that there is harmony and coincidence among faiths all over the world as believers believe that all faiths were initially inspired (revealed) from the same God and hence rituals were given and shared across the world, though in some parts they got corrupted and the meanings lost. This coincident celebration with similar theme supports this theory.
Another example is Brahma in Hindu, married to Saravista which corresponds to Abraham and wife, Sarah.
It is rather peculiarly interesting that Apple programmed Siri to recognize and proclaim these dates. It makes you wonder what else your home technology knows and cares about.
