BREAKING: Nigeria Recaptures Baga From Boko Haram Militants – NewsRescue.com

Nigerian troops have recaptured Baga from Boko Haram militants today according to a tweet from the Nigeria defense spokesperson.

Baga was overrun by Boko Haram militants in January 2015 a few days after the Multi-national troops withdrew from army barracks of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF). –SR

FLASH: Troops have this afternoon captured #BAGA after a fierce battle with the terrorists. Heavy casualties on them. Mopping up ongoing.
