The Christian Reformed Church Nigeria (CRC-N), has raised an alert over the reported killing of about 30 Christians by suspected terrorists in some parts of Taraba State on Sunday, despite the ceasefire agreement was said to have been declared by the the Federal Government and members of Boko Haram.
The Punch reports that among the persons killed during the attack were the Pastor of the Sondi Church in Taraba and his only male child.
Another Pastor identified as Nuhu Useni, was also killed by terrorists on the way to his farm.
In a Save Our Soul message obtained by journalists on Monday in Abuja, addressed to President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Ayo Oritsejafor, the President of CRC-N, Caleb Ahima, Takum, Taraba State said time has come for CAN “to let the Federal Government wade in to the bloodshed in Southern Taraba.”
