McCain: Obama Govt. Claim That “Rioters Murdered Ambassador” Was “Willful Ignorance”

Calls for Rice to Resign as US Intel. Revises Libya Account; John Kerry Again Says People  Should “Shut up”

September 29th, 2012; Updated 30th

NewsRescue- It was May 8th, 2012. Osama Bin Ladin had just been reported killed and hurriedly tossed into the sea. The White house gave conflicting reports on what happened and how he was allegedly killed, even though the alleged killing was viewed on High definition TV by members of the government as portrayed in a most invoking photo of the gathering.

Media was abuzz with public doubts as to the truth of the assassination and the description of events, due to the conflicting accounts of Osama’s alleged last moments. Did he defend himself? Was he killed in cold blood? Was he even killed? These were some of the questions making headlines.

Former presidential candidate, John Kerry, Obama regime chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was summoned to the presidents rescue, and uttered the most surprising, bland defense. We quote below from CNN:

“the nature of the beast.”

Washington (CNN) – Democratic Sen. John Kerry said it is time to stop questioning the exact occurrences in Osama bin Laden’s house before his death in Abbottabad, Pakistan, at the hand of U.S. Navy SEALs.

“I thinks those SEALs did exactly what they should have done….And we need to shut up and move on about, you know, the realities of what happened in that building.”

He also praised the Obama administration’s handling of the situation, despite errors in initial information disseminated by the White House, something he said is “the nature of the beast.” See: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/05/08/shut-up-and-move-on-kerry-says/

Well it seems we are at that point once again, like Ground-hog day. Once again, Obama’s administration has done what it does best- mess up vital public information and betray public trust, as well as jeopardize the safety, security and peace for humanity.

On September 11th, there was an obviously well planned and coordinated attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, by elements of the post Gaddafi, al Qaeda affiliated new Libya regime, known for hoisting al Qaeda’s flag on “liberated” Benghazi’s court house. Ambassador Stevens was killed along with three other US officials, two killed at the consulate and the two others killed when the terrorists ambushed the US officials at a safe house they ‘surprisingly’ knew of.

The Obama administration immediately released and promoted a clearly skewed version of events, claiming Muslim rioters, angry at a hate-speech movie made in the US by a bunch of criminal coptic Christians, and a ‘small bunch of savages’, had carried out this high level attack. This idea that rioting Muslims somehow caused the death of Ambassador Stevens fueled grave anti Muslim sentiment globally and ratcheted up mass Islamophobia worldwide.

People asked, ‘why did rioting Muslims kill US’ Ambassador?’

CNN: Axelrod, McCain spar over Libya attack [Update]

September 30th, 2012

McCain, however, said earlier on the same program that such an argument “doesn’t pass the smell test.”

“It was either willful ignorance or abysmal intelligence to think that people come to spontaneous demonstrations with heavy weapons, mortars, and the attack goes on for hours,” the Republican senator told CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley.

He argued the administration’s first reading of the events in Libya had “certain political overtones.”

“How else could you trot out our U.N. ambassador to say this was a spontaneous demonstration?” McCain said, referring to Ambassador Susan Rice’s appearance on Sunday shows a few days after the attack, when she attributed the violence to protests over the film. NewsRescue posted articles and an image, below,  on September 12th, clearly portraying the danger of the US’ inaccurate publication and promotion of dangerous, unconfirmed information regarding the Ambassador’s death.

A former Nigerian president, Olusegun Obasanjo described the death of Ambassador Stevens as a consequence of the US- NATO’s erroneous removal of president Gaddafi, a region stabilizing government, and accused the US of releasing terror all over Africa, leading to the destabilization of Mali and upsurge in Boko Haram terror in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation, among other consequences. President Olusegun Obasanjo described the Ambassador’s death as the US also tasting the repercussion of their mishandling of Libya.

Gradually, the US has been revealing information and admitting that the attack of the embassy was not part of any riots, news videos showed that there actually were no riots at the embassy prior to the well coordinated al Qaeda attack that killed the US officials.

CBS Report: All Lies! There Was Never an Anti-American Protest in Benghazi, Only a Planned Attack

Observers describe the US’ dangerous game and hesitance to admit al Qaeda’s full operation in post Gaddafi Libya as being intentional, knowing the US’ role in creating the type of administration and so-called ally that Libya now is. A terrorist ruled nation. The ambassadors death being “an act of war” to which the US-NATO installed government is clear culprit.

And here comes John Kerry again, in his usual damage control, “shut up”, and move on, it is “the nature of the beast”, defense. Not minding the grave impact this fabrication has had on the world Muslim 1.8 billion population.

In a CNN article published today, John Kerry said of this new controversy, that frank questions and discussions on why there is such a controversy are ‘politics’ and should be busted:

“I’m deeply disturbed by efforts to find the politics instead of finding the facts in this debate. … We need to drop the politics and pull together and bring the killers of Chris Stevens and our fallen heroes to justice,” Kerry said about the slain ambassador.

Here is the full CNN post on the new revision to the US account:

U.S. intel revises Libyan account

Washington (CNN) — The U.S. intelligence community has revised its assessment of the deadly attack on the American consulate in Libya, saying it now believes it was a deliberate terrorist assault.

In an unusual statement on Friday, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence sought to explain how it has revised its view of the September 11 attack on the diplomatic post that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others.

The assessment moves away from the initial belief the Benghazi attack began spontaneously following a protest over an anti-Muslim film. The intelligence community now believes it was “a deliberate and organized terrorist assault carried out by extremists” affiliated or sympathetic with al Qaeda.

The statement represents the fullest accounting yet of the intelligence community’s changed understanding of the attack, and suggests it is trying to distance itself from the political debate over whether the Obama administration is being fully forthcoming about its understanding of events.

The release of such information outlining an ongoing investigation is rare and underscores just how controversial the issue has become.

“In the immediate aftermath, there was information that led us to assess that the attack began spontaneously following protests earlier that day at our embassy in Cairo,” according to the statement from Shawn Turner, director of public affairs for the national intelligence office.

The statement continues that the information was provided to the White House and Congress with the clear understanding it was preliminary and could change.

“We provided that initial assessment to executive branch officials and members of Congress, who used that information to discuss the attack publicly and provide updates as they became available. Throughout our investigation we continued to emphasize that information gathered was preliminary and evolving,” the statement said.

But the statement makes it clear that the view has changed, although it does not specify over what period of time that occurred.

“As we learned more about the attack, we revised our initial assessment to reflect new information indicating that it was a deliberate and organized terrorist attack carried out by extremists,” according to the statement.

Last week, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Matt Olsen, described the incident as a terror attack, but noted it was not “significantly planned.”

His statement came days after U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice described the attack based more on what the intelligence community says is its initial assessment — that it arose from a protest.

“I think we have to show that there is a price to be paid for such a gross misstatement of reality,” he told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on “The Situation Room.”

Prior to King’s call, Rice’s office released a statement defending what she said on Sunday talk shows five days after the attack.

“Ambassador Rice’s comments were prefaced at every turn with a clear statement that an FBI investigation was under way that would provide the definitive accounting of the events that took place in Benghazi,” spokeswoman Erin Pelton said in that statement.

“At every turn Ambassador Rice provided — and said she was providing — the best information and the best assessment that the administration had at the time, based on what was provided to Ambassador Rice and other senior U.S. officials by the U.S. intelligence community.”

Sen. John Kerry, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and a spokesman for the National Security Council similarly defended Rice.

“I’m deeply disturbed by efforts to find the politics instead of finding the facts in this debate. … We need to drop the politics and pull together and bring the killers of Chris Stevens and our fallen heroes to justice,” Kerry said about the slain ambassador.

The security council spokesman stressed everything Rice said was cleared and nothing was meant to mislead the American public.

“The president appreciates the work she does every day and he is looking forward to her continued work,” the spokesman said.

This week, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said he believed the attack was “clearly” conducted by terrorists who planned it, and said that it “took a while” for there to be information to reach such a conclusion.

But on the same day, a senior U.S. official told CNN that within a day or so of the attack, the U.S. intelligence community began to gather information suggesting it was the work of extremists either affiliated with al Qaeda groups or inspired by them.

The timing of when this understanding overtook the initial assessment remains unclear.

“It remains unclear if any group or person exercised overall command and control of the attack, and if extremist group leaders directed their members to participate. However, we do assess that some of those involved were linked to groups affiliated with, or sympathetic to (al Qaeda),” according to the statement from Turner, at the national intelligence office.

“As more information becomes available our analysis will continue to evolve and we will obtain a more complete understanding of the circumstances surrounding the terrorist attack,” it read.

Turner said the intelligence community will continue to assist the State Department and FBI in their investigation.

“For its part, the intelligence community will continue to follow the information about the tragic events in Benghazi wherever it leads.”
